Parents Who Care Program: 

The Parents Who Care Program is a program geared towards counseling and providing services to families that are having difficulty with children who are involved in substance abuse as well as other obstacles that may be preventing the child from living at home., i. e. gang involvement, psychological diagnosis, etc.

S Safe-Place  Program:

The Safe-Place program is designed to assist youth and families in crisis situations. With Friends maintains a network of non-residential  community locations where youth at risk or in crisis situations can go to get help quickly. He/she can go into a location displaying the yellow logo above.

Case Management Provider:  

Case Management is offered to anyone in Gaston, Cleveland and Lincoln Counties. With Friends has developed an interview process whereby a licensed staff  evaluates and  implements a  customized program to meet the need of each individual youth and family. The program is designed to addresses the education, vocational, residential, mental health  treatment, financial, social and other non-treatment needs of both the client and their family.  

Student Internship Program:

Internship opportunities for those studying Social Work; Counselor, Case Manager and Case Coordinator. With Friends currently partners with Winthrop University, the University of North Carolina and Belmont Abbey College.

Volunteer Program:

Volunteers are needed to help with Teen Treasures, Mailings, Administrative   Duties and Youth Workers. Current partnerships are with the Junior League of Gaston County, Work First Program and  GAVA and various other community volunteer organizations.

With Friends Teen Board:  

With Friends Teen Board is an outreach program offered to community minded young people interested in volunteering their time and abilities to planning, policy/decision-making, service delivery roles including peer helping/peer education, fundraising and recreational activities

Public Relations Program:

Teen Treasures: "Buy an item, help a homeless child"

Clothing and fashion accessory items. Teen Treasures is a MOBILE discount shop that provides an opportunity to shop and have fun with your friends, family, school, clubs or church groups. No item over $10.00. We bring the store to you!
